Do you ever feeling like going through all your belongings and doing a heavy-duty spring-cleaning?
That’s where I am right now. Going through the house wanting to get rid of whatever I no longer like or need.
I am getting rid of clothes, knickknacks, books, and shoes. And that’s just for starters because I started deleting computer files and foraging through the basement.
I’m at the point where I feel like doing this with my life, shedding my skin and moving in a direction that feels right for me.
Decluttering is a fabulous way to kick-start your life. And it’s an art form that people devote whole websites and books about. I’ve always liked the idea, being the reflective person that I am.
So I ask myself these questions:
- What do I want to get rid of?
- What do I want to change?
- What have I been doing that feels outdated?
I can’t help but clear the clutter from my life as a result. It’s like hitting the refresh button on my computer’s Internet browser.
When I release stuff from my life, I feel like I can breathe better because there is more space. Plus I make room for rearrangements, gifts, and upgrades.
What clutter do you want to let go of? Where are you ready to upgrade your life? Share below.

This is a great post! My favorite question is, “What have I been doing that feels outdated?” This is a question I have not thought about before, but would SERIOUSLY help with decluttering and organizing. Thank you for the great tips, and I’m going to do my best to declutter my office, specially asking the question what feels outdated?
