I am practicing the Olympic sport of REST. Yup. You heard right.
I barely moved for two whole days and hung out in the hammock as much as possible. Or the sofa. Or the bed.
I am seeing all sorts of Facebook comments about people having lost their mojo, their sense of direction, & such.
And I can officially tell you that that this means — REST.
We don’t do that enough in our culture.
If you feel like you are running on empty. Rest.
If you feel like you have no energy to work or do other mundane tasks, then it’s time to take a break.
If you feel like you have too much to do and not enough time to do it, then CHILL OUT.
If you are feeling uninspired, then it may be time to take a nap.
Running around like a crazy person doesn’t do anyone any good, especially you.
You might just be at the point where you need to rest for days before you even feel like food shopping or doing the laundry.
And that’s okay.
Permission granted to do nothing. (In case you needed it.)
Resting your body just because you can is incredibly healing.
When was the last time you spent a whole day doing nothing?

This sounds weird but cool

Thank you! I need it. 🙂 I’m hoping for a gold medal.
